Come see www.socksfromjesus.com christian homeless outreach site. Spread the good deeds, help the poor, feed the poor, and give someone a drink who is thirsty. Jesus said whoever gives one of them a drink gives a drink to me. Whoever visits a person in jail visits me, do in my name.
Let’s have a giving and loving spirit all through the year not just during the Christmas holidays. Don’t turn away from the needy, help them.
There is a new Family Homeless Day Center in Scottsdale, AZ now. It is called family promise on Belleview st. I volunteer there to help with resumes. Families with kids only. Day center at night different churches host homeless families, feed them and give them a place to sleep.
Vista Del Camino on Roosevelt helps people with food, social workers are there, and job career center. Internet access, phones, printer and fax machines to help you find work. Resume and interview classes for you too.
Remember die to self and let God’s love shine through you and to others.
